Won built expertise in market operations during his tenure as deputy director in the same team. Before his recent role as Stock Market Team leader, he served as Corporate Finance Team leader.

His predecessor, Yoon Ok-ja, received a promotion and was dispatched to the North Chungcheong Provincial Government.

Won stated: "Open market operations can achieve higher effectiveness when based on accurate diagnosis of market conditions and deep mutual trust relationships with market participants. Going forward, I will focus on close communication with the market in conducting open market operations."

Gong Dae-hee Retained as Open Market Operations Director

Gong Dae-hee was retained in his position as Open Market Operations Director. Park Seong-jin, former Market Coordination Team leader, was appointed as Monetary and Financial Director.

Yoon Dae-hyuk, Bond Market Team leader, was assigned to the Market Coordination Team leader position. Yoon has extensive bond market experience from long service in the Financial Markets Department and previously served as a team leader in the Human Resources Management Department.

Multiple Team Leader Positions Filled in Financial Markets Department

Choi Ji-eon, Market Research Team leader, was appointed to lead the Bond Market Team. Kim Bo-kyung, Corporate Finance Team leader, was assigned to the Stock Market Team. Hwang Young-woong was retained as Money Market Team leader.

Two positions were filled with new appointees: Choo Myung-sam (deputy director) was appointed Corporate Finance Team leader, and Park Min-chul (deputy director) was appointed Market Research Team leader.
