Shanghai Nickel Futures Plummet to 129,320 Yuan/Ton, Down 2,000 Points on August 6

According to Guru Club, Shanghai nickel futures main contract plummeted to 129,320 yuan/ton on August 6, down nearly 2,000 points intraday after gains earlier in the day. The decline follows approval of an additional 25 million metric tons of nickel ore RKAB quota for Weda Bay Nickel, bringing the company's total 2026 annual nickel ore RKAB quota to approximately 37 million wet metric tons when combined with previously approved allocations.
