South Korean Government Bond Futures Rise on August 6; 3-Year Up 5bp, 10-Year Up 19bp

According to Yonhap Infomax, South Korean government bond futures rose on August 6 as markets tracked foreign investor buying activity. Three-year bond futures traded at 103.58, up 5 basis points, while 10-year futures climbed to 107.06, up 19 basis points, as of 9:05 a.m. local time. Foreign investors net-purchased 3,000 contracts of 3-year futures while net-selling 124 contracts of 10-year futures. Three-year futures saw foreign buying for a 10th consecutive trading day. U.S. Treasury yields were flat overnight, with 2-year yields at 4.194% and 10-year yields at 4.620%.
