According to financial investment sources, Singapore's government and the Government of Singapore Investment Corporation (GIC) reduced holdings in HD Hyundai Marine Solution and Cosmax in late June and July. GIC cut its stake in HD Hyundai Marine Solution from 5.001% to 3.996%, divesting approximately 100 billion Korean won, while Singapore's government reduced its position from above 5% to 3.976%, selling about 200 billion won. In Cosmax, GIC divested roughly 20 billion won of holdings, reducing its stake from 5.314% to 4.295%, and Singapore's government sold about 30 billion won, lowering its position from 5.397% to 4.323%.
Following the selloffs, the two stocks diverged sharply. HD Hyundai Marine Solution fell approximately 12.9% in July amid analyst downgrades, while Cosmax gained roughly 23.1% over the same period, supported by positive global cosmetics sector sentiment.
