According to Bitget, on August 6, Nikkei 225 index opened down touching 66,000 points, down 0.60%. South Korea's KOSPI index opened lower at 6,600 points, falling 1.81%. Among major holdings, SK Hynix declined nearly 5% and Samsung Electronics fell 2%.
