According to Barron's, IonQ reported Q2 revenue of $80.1 million on Wednesday (August 5), surging nearly 4x year-over-year and exceeding Wall Street estimates of $66.5 million. The company's adjusted EPS loss was $0.33, beating analyst expectations of a $0.56 loss. Management attributed the strong revenue growth to increased commercial customer demand for its Tempo quantum computer and robust cloud computing service adoption.
IonQ raised its 2026 full-year revenue guidance to $280-290 million from the prior forecast of $260-270 million, above the average analyst estimate of $268.6 million. The company remains unprofitable, with net losses expanding to approximately $1.9 billion this quarter.
