On Wednesday, August 5, U.S. equity ETFs showed sharp divergence. The Nasdaq-100 ETF and Barclays Convertible Bond ETF declined at least 0.9%, while the Gold ETF surged 4.14%. The VIX ETF fell 3.57%, and the Dow ETF gained 0.44%. Most tech and broad market funds retreated amid market volatility.
