South Korea Pension Savings Accounts Hit 42.4% Fund Allocation, Breaking 40% Threshold for First Time in H1 2026

According to South Korea's Financial Supervisory Service (FSS), pension savings account (PSA) fund allocations reached 42.4% of total assets at the end of the first half of 2026, crossing the 40% threshold for the first time. Total PSA accumulated funds reached 212.2 trillion won, up 14.6% from year-end 2025, with pension savings fund assets surging to 90 trillion won in H1, a 26.9% increase from Q1.
