Three Arrows Capital Liquidators Sue Zhu Su's Wife Over $40M Dubai Villa Sale

According to Foresight News, liquidators of cryptocurrency hedge fund Three Arrows Capital filed a lawsuit on August 5, 2026, against Evelyn Tao Yaqiong, wife of co-founder Zhu Su, seeking 146 million dirhams ($40 million) from the sale of a Dubai villa in January 2024. The liquidators stated that Zhu Su purchased the property in June 2022 using $50 million in company-provided cryptocurrency loans and transferred it to his wife around October 26, 2023. Evelyn Tao is contesting the lawsuit, claiming she was unaware of any alleged default and that the villa was a gift from Zhu Su.
