BlockBeats reported on June 30 that SemiAnalysis, an independent research firm focused on semiconductors and AI, expects NVIDIA to see substantial growth in the second half of this year. According to the SemiAnalysis Accelerator Model, NVIDIA’s data center compute (DC Compute) revenue in the second half of fiscal 2027 (2H FY2027) is expected to be 20% higher than the market consensus.
The Rubin platform, which was previously delayed due to issues related to HBM4, is now expected to ramp up on a large scale in the second half of this year as those issues are resolved and front-end wafer production capacity improves.
Unlike some sell-side analysts, who tend to issue relatively conservative earnings forecasts that make it easier for companies to “beat expectations,” SemiAnalysis bases its forecasts on in-depth research covering the entire supply chain, including materials, wafer manufacturing, components, full-server manufacturers, hyperscalers, and the latest developments at leading AI labs. Its insights on NVIDIA and AI chip companies such as Broadcom, AMD, MediaTek, and Marvell are incorporated into its Accelerator Model and HBM Model.
