Odaily Planet Daily reports that the Solana Policy Research Institute stated that the criminal case against Tornado Cash developer Roman Storm is "not an isolated dispute," and called on U.S. legislative bodies to establish a clearer legal protection framework for software developers. The institute pointed out that the case has become a critical point in testing whether the U.S. still supports open innovation. Although the case has not been dismissed, there is still hope before sentencing is made, and it is described as the "greatest regulatory and even criminal uncertainty" currently facing the U.S. crypto ecosystem.
