Overview of Key Industry Employment Changes in the ADP Report: Private sector employment decreased by 32,000

Odaily Planet Daily News: ADP Report: Employment growth will stagnate in the second half of 2025, with the growth rate of employment numbers showing a downward trend. Hiring in manufacturing, professional and business services, information, and construction was particularly weak in November. In November, U.S. private sector employment decreased by 32,000, with the following changes in key industries:

  1. ADP Report: Construction employment decreased by 9,000 in November, compared to an increase of 5,000 in October.
  2. ADP Report: Manufacturing employment decreased by 18,000 in November, compared to a decrease of 3,000 in October.
  3. ADP Report: Trade/transportation/utilities employment increased by 1,000 in November, compared to an increase of 47,000 in October.
  4. ADP Report: Financial services employment decreased by 9,000 in November, compared to an increase of 11,000 in October.
  5. ADP Report: Professional/business services employment decreased by 26,000 in November, compared to a decrease of 15,000 in October. (Jin10)
