Activity Introduction

Q1: What is the Event Points activity?

The Event Points activity is a trading rewards program for the Gate Event Markets. Users earn Scratch Cards by trading on the Gate Event Markets. After using a Scratch Card, users have a chance to receive USDT, Points, Vouchers, or the Super Lucky Prize. Points won from Scratch Cards count toward the weekly leaderboard rankings, and top-ranked users can share the Points Prize Pool.

Q2: How does the activity work?

There are three steps to participate:

  1. Earn cards by trading: Trade on the Gate Event Markets and accumulate valid trading volume to earn Scratch Cards.

  2. Scratch and claim rewards: Use Scratch Cards, and you are 100% guaranteed to receive a reward.

  3. Climb the Points Leaderboard: Points won from Scratch Cards count toward the corresponding round, and the top 100 users on the weekly leaderboard can share the Points Prize Pool.

Q3: Do I need to register for the activity?

No. Once users who meet the activity requirements trade on the Gate Event Markets, the system will automatically accumulate and issue Scratch Cards based on valid trading volume. Specific participation eligibility and available Scratch Card quantity are subject to what is actually displayed on the activity page.

Trade to Earn Scratch Cards

Q4: How do I earn Scratch Cards?

Trade on the Gate Event Markets. Once the cumulative trading volume of your filled buy and sell orders reaches the specified amount, you can earn Scratch Cards:

  • Regular Event Markets: Earn 1 Scratch Card for every cumulative 20 USDT in trading volume.

  • Crypto Up/Down Event Market marked with “2x”: Earn 1 Scratch Card for every cumulative 10 USDT in trading volume.

The more you trade, the more Scratch Cards you can earn.

*Only trades in Event Markets are counted. Event Contracts are not eligible for this activity.

Q5: Which markets qualify for the 2x Scratch Card bonus?

Crypto Up/Down Event Market marked with “2x” are eligible for the double Scratch Card earning benefit. This currently includes BTC and ETH short-period Up/Down Event Market marked on the activity page, such as 5-minute, 15-minute, 1-hour, and 4-hour Up/Down Event Market. The specific applicable markets are subject to the “2x” indicator actually displayed on the trading page.

Q6: Do both buy and sell orders count toward trading volume?

Yes. Both filled buy orders and sell orders count toward the valid trading volume for the activity, and Scratch Cards will be accumulated according to the activity rules.

Q7: Which orders are not counted toward activity trading volume?

Only orders confirmed as valid fills by the system count toward activity trading volume. Unfilled open orders, canceled orders, refunded orders, and orders deemed invalid due to anomalies, risk control, or other reasons are not counted.

Q8: Why haven't I earned a Scratch Card after trading?

Scratch Cards are calculated based on cumulative valid filled trading volume. If you have not reached the cumulative trading threshold for the corresponding market, the system will not issue a full Scratch Card. Once the threshold is reached, the Scratch Card will automatically be added to the available quantity on the activity page. If the page has not updated in time, please refresh later; the system's final statistics will prevail.

Scratch Cards and Rewards

Q9: What rewards can I get from Scratch Cards?

Each valid Scratch Card guarantees one reward, including:

  • USDT Rewards: 1–100 USDT.

  • Event Points: 1–88,888 PTS.

  • Vouchers: 5–100 USDT in Vouchers.

  • Super Lucky Prize: 88,888 PTS + a share of the current Grand Prize Pool.

The specific reward types, reward amounts, and winning probabilities are subject to the activity page and actual system distribution results.

Q10: Does every Scratch Card guarantee a reward?

Yes. Each valid Scratch Card guarantees one reward, including USDT, Points, Vouchers, or the Super Lucky Prize. Different rewards have different values, Point amounts, and winning probabilities; the system draw result will prevail.

Q11: What is the Super Lucky Prize?

The Super Lucky Prize is a special reward in the Scratch Card activity. After users reveal the Super Lucky Prize by scratching a card, they receive 88,888 PTS and share the current Grand Prize Pool. If multiple users reveal the Super Lucky Prize in the current round, the Grand Prize Pool will be split equally based on the number of wins in that round. Each time a user reveals the Super Lucky Prize, they receive 88,888 PTS. The specific prize pool distribution and final credited amount are subject to the system settlement result.

Q12: If I exit the page after partially scratching a card manually, will I lose the reward?

No. Once you complete the first scratch action within the valid scratch area, the Scratch Card is considered used. Even if you exit the page, close the pop-up, or experience network fluctuations, the card will not revert to an unscratched state. You can check the draw result and reward distribution in "Winning Records".

Q13: Can I scratch multiple cards at once?

Yes. You can choose to scratch 1, 5, 10, or 100 cards. If your available Scratch Card quantity is insufficient, the system will prompt “Insufficient Scratch Cards”. You can reduce the number of cards to scratch in this batch or continue trading to earn more Scratch Cards.

Q14: Why do I only see a summary result after scratching multiple cards at once?

The batch scratch result pop-up displays a summary of rewards from this batch, such as the total USDT, Points, and Vouchers received. For the specific draw result, reward type, reward status, and credited status of each Scratch Card, please check “Winning Records”.

Q15: What should I do if scratching fails, the page is loading, or there is a network error?

While the draw request is being processed, the page will show a loading state. Please wait patiently for the result. If the draw fails due to network timeout, network error, server error, or business validation failure, follow the page prompts to refresh or re-enter the activity page to check the result. Whether the card has been used and whether the reward has been generated are subject to the system's final records.

Q16: Where can I view my Scratch Card rewards?

You can access “Winning Records” from the activity home page, the scratch panel, or the scratch result pop-up. Winning Records can be filtered by All, Tokens, Points, and Vouchers, and displays records grouped by round. For Vouchers, click “Use Now” in the corresponding record to go to the Gate Voucher Center to view details and usage conditions.

Event Points and Leaderboard

Q17: How do I earn Event Points?

Event Points can only be obtained through Scratch Cards. Trading in Event Markets does not directly award Event Points. After users reach the corresponding cumulative trading volume and earn Scratch Cards, revealed Point rewards will be credited to the corresponding round.

*Only trades in Event Markets are counted. Event Contracts are not eligible for this activity.

Q18: What are Event Points used for?

Event Points are used to participate in the leaderboard ranking for the corresponding round. At each weekly settlement, the top 100 users on the Points Leaderboard can receive ranking rewards from the Points Prize Pool according to the ranking rules. Event Points are only used for activity ranking and cannot be transferred, withdrawn, or exchanged for other assets.

Q19: How is the Points Leaderboard ranked?

The Points Leaderboard is ranked from high to low based on the Event Points users earn in the current round. If two or more users have the same number of Points, the user who reached that Point total first will rank higher.

Q20: How many users are shown on the Points Leaderboard?

Each round of the Points Leaderboard displays the top 100 users. The activity home page will prioritize displaying your ranking information. Specific details are subject to what is actually displayed on the page.

Q21: How are the ranking rewards for the Points Leaderboard distributed?

80% of the total contribution for the current round is used for leaderboard ranking rewards. The top 100 users will share rewards according to the following proportions:

  • Rank 1: 30%

  • Rank 2: 15%

  • Rank 3: 10%

  • Ranks 4–10: Share 10%

  • Ranks 11–50: Share 10%

  • Ranks 51–100: Share 5%

Rewards within the same ranking tier will be distributed equally among eligible users in that tier.

For specifics, please refer to “Activity Rules” in the upper right corner of the activity page.

Q22: When is the Points Leaderboard settled? Do Event Points expire?

The Points Leaderboard operates on a weekly basis. At 18:00 every Monday, the current round is settled and a new round begins. After settlement, Event Points from the current round will be automatically cleared and cannot be carried over to the next round or count toward the next round's leaderboard ranking.

Q23: Do unused Scratch Cards expire?

Yes. Unscratched Scratch Cards from the current round will automatically expire at 18:00 every Monday after the round settlement and cannot be carried over to the next round. Users are advised to use them in a timely manner before the deadline.

Prize Pool and Reward Distribution

Q24: What are the total contribution for the current round, the Points Prize Pool, and the Grand Prize Pool?

The activity prize pool is allocated from the total contribution for the current round:

  • Total contribution for the Current Round: Composed of Gate's fixed contribution, contribution from users successfully scratching Scratch Cards, and additional platform contribution.

  • Points Prize Pool: 80% of the total contribution for the current round, used for leaderboard ranking rewards.

  • Grand Prize Pool: 20% of the total contribution for the current round, shared among users who win the Super Lucky Prize.

During the activity, Gate injects a fixed 10,000 USDT into the prize pool each round. For every Scratch Card successfully used, an additional 0.1 USDT is injected into the prize pool. The platform may also make additional contributions based on the actual activity situation. Specific details are subject to the real-time display on the activity page.

Q25: What happens to the Grand Prize Pool if no one wins the Super Lucky Prize in the current round?

If no user wins the Super Lucky Prize in the current round, the Grand Prize Pool for that round will not be cleared. It will automatically roll over to the next round and continue to accumulate. If users win the Super Lucky Prize in a later round, they can claim the current Super Grand Prize Pool. If multiple users win, the Grand Prize Pool will be split equally among them.

Q26: Why does the prize pool amount change?

The prize pool amount is updated based on Gate's fixed contribution, contribution from users successfully scratching Scratch Cards, and additional platform contribution. The actual reward amount, final settlement results, and credited amount are subject to system records.

Q27: When will rewards be credited?

Regular Scratch Card rewards will be distributed through the system process after a successful draw, as shown in Winning Records. Leaderboard ranking rewards and the Super Lucky Prize will be distributed after the weekly settlement is confirmed and will be completed within 3 business days after settlement confirmation. The final reward status, amount, and credited result are subject to Winning Records and the actual credited result.

Fair Participation and Risk Notice

Q28: How does the platform handle abnormal trading or cheating?

To ensure the fairness of the activity, Gate has the right to review abnormal trading, volume inflation, wash trading, bulk registration, fake transactions, cheating, or any other behavior that violates the activity rules. If users engage in any of the above behaviors or other abnormal situations, Gate has the right to cancel their eligibility to participate, cancel or reclaim relevant rewards, and reserve the right to take further action.

Q29: If the activity page, Winning Records, and actual credited results are inconsistent, which one prevails?

Activity rewards, prize pools, eligibility, draw results, and final settlement results are subject to Gate platform system records, Winning Records, and actual credited results.

Q30: Does Gate reserve the final interpretation right for the activity?

Yes. Gate reserves the right to interpret, adjust, suspend, or terminate the activity rules within the scope permitted by applicable laws and regulations. Activity rules, prizes, eligibility, and final settlement results are subject to the information actually displayed on the Gate platform and the system's processing results.
