Q1: What is the Event Points campaign?
The Event Points campaign is a trading rewards campaign for the Gate Event Market. Users who trade on the Gate Event Market can earn scratch cards. By using scratch cards, users have a chance to receive USDT, points, trial coupons, or a Super Lucky Prize. Points revealed from scratch cards can be used to participate in the weekly points leaderboard. Top-ranked users can share the points prize pool.
Q2: How does the campaign work?
The campaign consists of three steps:
Trade to earn cards: Trade on the Gate Event Market and accumulate eligible trading volume to earn scratch cards.
Scratch cards to claim rewards: Use scratch cards for a 100% chance of receiving a reward.
Climb the points leaderboard: Points revealed from scratch cards are credited to the corresponding leaderboard period. Participate in the weekly points leaderboard, where the top 100 users can share the points prize pool.
Q3: Do I need to register to participate?
No. After eligible users trade on the Gate Event Market in accordance with the campaign rules, the system will automatically accumulate eligible trading volume and issue scratch cards. Actual eligibility and the number of available scratch cards are subject to the display on the campaign page.
Trade to Earn Cards
Q4: How do I earn scratch cards?
Trade on the Gate Event Market. Once the cumulative trading volume of filled buy and sell orders reaches the specified amount, you can earn scratch cards:
Regular Event Markets: Earn 1 scratch card for every cumulative 20 USDT in trading volume.
Event Markets marked with “2x”: Earn 1 scratch card for every cumulative 10 USDT in trading volume.
The more you trade, the more scratch cards you can earn.
*Only Event Market trades are counted. Event Contracts are not currently included in the campaign.
Q5: Which markets are eligible for the 2x scratch card bonus?
Crypto price movement Event Markets marked with “2x” are eligible for double scratch card earnings. Eligible markets are subject to the “2x” label displayed on the trading page.
Q6: Are both buy and sell orders included in trading volume?
Yes. Filled buy and sell orders are both included in the campaign's eligible trading volume, and scratch cards accumulate according to the campaign rules.
Q7: Which orders are not included in the campaign trading volume?
Only valid filled orders confirmed by the system are included in the campaign trading volume. Unfilled pending orders, canceled orders, refunded orders, and orders deemed invalid due to irregularities, risk controls, or other reasons are not included in the campaign trading volume.
Q8: Why have I traded but not received a scratch card yet?
Scratch cards are calculated based on cumulative eligible filled trading volume. If you have not yet reached the cumulative trading threshold for the relevant market, the system will not issue a full scratch card. Once the threshold is reached, the scratch card will be automatically added to the available balance on the campaign page. If the page does not update promptly, refresh it later. The system's final calculation will prevail.
Scratch Cards and Rewards
Q9: What rewards can I receive from scratch cards?
Each valid scratch card grants one reward, including:
USDT reward: 1–100 USDT
Event Points: 1–88,888 Event Points
Trial coupon: 5–100 USDT trial coupon
Super Lucky Prize: 88,888 Event Points + a share of the current Lucky Grand Prize Pool
The specific reward type, reward amount, and winning probability are subject to the campaign page and the rewards actually issued by the system.
Q10: Does every scratch card win a prize?
Yes. Each valid scratch card grants one reward, including USDT, points, trial coupons, or the Super Lucky Prize. Reward amounts, point quantities, and winning probabilities vary by reward and are subject to the system's draw results.
Q11: What is the Super Lucky Prize?
The Super Lucky Prize is a special reward in the scratch card campaign. Users who reveal a Super Lucky Prize will receive 88,888 Event Points and share the current Lucky Grand Prize Pool. If multiple users reveal a Super Lucky Prize during the current period, the Lucky Grand Prize Pool will be divided equally based on the number of winning occurrences during that period. Each time a user reveals a Super Lucky Prize, they will receive 88,888 Event Points. Specific prize pool allocations and the final credited amount are subject to the system's settlement results.
Q12: If I manually scratch a card, partially reveal it, and then leave the page, will I lose the reward?
No. Once a user first performs a scratching action within the valid scratch area, that scratch card is considered used. Even if the user leaves the page, closes the pop-up, or experiences network fluctuations, the card will not revert to its unscratched status. You can view draw results and reward distribution in “Reward History.”
Q13: Can I scratch multiple cards at once?
Yes. Users can choose to scratch 1, 5, 10, or 100 cards. If the current number of available scratch cards is insufficient, the system will display “Insufficient scratch cards.” You can reduce the number of cards to scratch this time or continue trading to earn more scratch cards.
Q14: Why do I only see a summary after scratching multiple cards at once?
The batch scratch card results pop-up displays a summary of the rewards received in that batch, such as the total USDT, points, and trial coupons received. To view the specific draw result, reward type, reward status, and crediting status for each scratch card, go to “Reward History.”
Q15: What should I do if scratching fails, the page is loading, or there is a network error?
While the draw request is being processed, the page will display a loading status. Please wait patiently for the result. If the draw fails due to a network timeout, network error, server error, or business verification failure, follow the on-page instructions to refresh or re-enter the campaign page to check the result. Whether the card has been used and whether the reward has been generated are subject to the system's final records.
Q16: Where can I view my scratch card rewards?
Users can access “Reward History” from the campaign homepage, scratch card panel, or scratch card results pop-up. Reward History supports filtering by All, USDT, Points, and Trial Coupons, and displays results grouped by leaderboard period. For trial coupons, click “Use Now” in the corresponding record to go to the Gate Coupon Center and view details and usage conditions.
Event Points and the Points Leaderboard
Q17: How do I earn Event Points?
Event Points can only be obtained through scratch cards. Trading on the Event Market does not directly earn Event Points. Once users reach the applicable cumulative trading volume and receive scratch cards, Event Points will be credited to the corresponding leaderboard period when they reveal a points reward.
*Only Event Market trades are counted. Event Contracts are not currently included in the campaign.
Q18: What are Event Points used for?
Event Points are used to participate in the points leaderboard ranking for the corresponding leaderboard period. At weekly settlement, the top 100 users on the points leaderboard can receive ranking rewards from the points prize pool according to the ranking rules. Event Points are for campaign rankings only and cannot be transferred, withdrawn, or exchanged for other assets.
Q19: How is the points leaderboard ranked?
The points leaderboard ranks users from highest to lowest based on the Event Points earned during the current period. If two or more users have the same number of points, the user who reached that point total first will rank higher.
Q20: How many users are displayed on the points leaderboard?
The points leaderboard displays the top 100 users for each period. The campaign homepage will prioritize displaying your ranking information. Please refer to the actual display on the page.
Q21: How are points leaderboard ranking rewards distributed?
80% of the total injection for the current period is allocated to points leaderboard ranking rewards. The top 100 users are rewarded according to the following proportions:
1st place: 37.5%
2nd place: 18.75%
3rd place: 12.5%
4th–10th place: Share 12.5%
11th–50th place: Share 12.5%
51st–100th place: Share 6.25%
*Reward calculation: Reward percentage × points prize pool amount
Rewards within the same ranking tier will be divided equally among eligible winning users in that tier.

Q22: When does the points leaderboard settle? Do Event Points expire?
The leaderboard runs on a weekly basis. The current leaderboard period settles every Monday at 18:00, and a new period begins. After settlement, Event Points for the current period will be automatically cleared. They cannot be carried over to the next period or used to participate in the next period's points leaderboard ranking.
Q23: Do unused scratch cards expire?
Yes. Scratch cards that remain unscratched during the current leaderboard period will automatically expire after the leaderboard period settles at 18:00 every Monday and cannot be carried over to the next period. Users are advised to use them before they expire.
Prize Pools and Reward Distribution
Q24: What are the total injection for the current period, the points prize pool, and the Lucky Grand Prize Pool?
The campaign prize pools are allocated from the total injection for the current period:
Total injection for the current period: Consists of Gate's fixed injection, injections made after users successfully scratch cards, and additional injections from the platform.
Points prize pool: 80% of the total injection for the current period, used for points leaderboard ranking rewards.
Lucky Grand Prize Pool: 20% of the total injection for the current period, to be shared by users who win the Super Lucky Prize.
During the campaign, Gate makes a fixed injection of 10,000 USDT into the prize pool each period. An additional 0.1 USDT is injected into the prize pool for each scratch card successfully scratched. The platform may also make additional injections based on actual campaign conditions. Injections may be subject to some delay. Please refer to the real-time display on the campaign page.
Q25: What happens to the Lucky Grand Prize Pool if no one reveals a Super Lucky Prize during the current period?
If no user reveals a Super Lucky Prize during the current period, the Lucky Grand Prize Pool will not be cleared. It will automatically roll over to the next period and continue accumulating. If a user subsequently reveals a Super Lucky Prize, they can receive the current Super Lucky Prize Pool reward. If multiple users win, they will share the Lucky Grand Prize Pool equally.
Q26: Why does the prize pool amount change?
The prize pool amount is updated based on Gate's fixed injections, injections made after users successfully scratch cards, and additional injections from the platform. Actual reward amounts, final settlement results, and credited amounts are subject to the system's records.
Q27: When will rewards be credited?
Regular scratch card rewards will be distributed according to the system process after a successful draw. Please refer to Reward History for details. Points leaderboard ranking rewards and Super Lucky Prizes will be distributed after weekly settlement is confirmed and will be completed within 3 business days after settlement confirmation. Final reward status, amounts, and crediting results are subject to Reward History and the actual credited results.
Fair Participation and Risk Notice
Q28: How does the platform handle irregular trading or cheating?
To ensure campaign fairness, Gate has the right to investigate irregular trading, volume manipulation, wash trading, bulk account registration, fake trading, cheating, or other violations of the campaign rules. If a user engages in any of the above conduct or has other irregularities, Gate has the right to disqualify them from the campaign, cancel or reclaim related rewards, and reserve the right to take further action.
Q29: If the campaign page, Reward History, and actual credited results are inconsistent, which one prevails?
Campaign rewards, prize pools, eligibility, draw results, and final settlement results are subject to Gate platform system records, Reward History, and actual credited results.
Q30: Does Gate reserve the right of final interpretation of the campaign?
Yes. Gate reserves the right to interpret, adjust, suspend, or terminate these campaign rules to the extent permitted by laws and regulations. Campaign rules, prizes, eligibility, and final settlement results are subject to the actual page display and system processing results of the Gate platform.
