Gate Supports the renaming of CryptoGPT (GPT) to LayerAI (LAI)

As required by the CryptoGPT (GPT) team, Gate will support the renaming of CryptoGPT (GPT) to LayerAI (LAI), which will be implemented on May 30, 2023, 06:00 a.m. UTC. By then, Gate will take the deposit, withdrawal and trading services of CryptoGPT (GPT) offline, including futures trading, quantitative trading, and margin trading. After the renaming is successfully completed, GPT will be relisted on Gate with the new symbol LAI.

Details:

1. Gate will close the new margin borrowing and crypto loan services of GPT before May 29, 2023, 02:00 a.m. UTC.
2. Gate will suspend the deposit, withdrawal and trading of GPT, including futures trading, quantitative trading, and margin trading, on May 30, 2023, 06:00 a.m. UTC.
3. Users who have outstanding GPT loans in the margin trading market should repay the loans in advance. Otherwise, the loan will be settled automatically by May 30, 2023, 06:00 a.m. UTC.
4. If there are any in-progress trades in the future trading market, please adjust your strategies in advance. On May 30, 2023, 06:00 a.m. UTC, Gate will stop GPT futures trading and close all GPT futures positions. Affected users are advised to close their positions in advance.
5. Users who have in-progress GPT quantitative trading should adjust their trading plans beforehand. Otherwise, the plans will be terminated automatically by May 30, 2023, 06:00 a.m. UTC.

The renaming does not involve any blockchain migration process. Gate users don’t need to do anything in particular. If you wish to have your GPT renamed on Gate, please deposit GPT to Gate.
