2. How to Launch a Token
2.1 Definition of Token Creators & Core Mechanism
Users who successfully launch a token via the Gate Fun website are recognized as token creators. When a token’s bonding curve progress reaches 100%, it will automatically trigger liquidity migration (referred to as “graduation”), and the token will officially enter Gate Swap for circulation, connecting to mainstream trading channels.
2.2 Launch a Token in 3 Steps
- Connect Wallet: On the Gate Fun platform, choose a supported wallet (e.g., Gate Wallet, Metamask) and complete authorization. Ensure a small amount of GT is held for gas fees.
- Fill in Parameters: On the token launch page, input basic token information such as name, symbol. (Once submitted, parameters cannot be modified—please double-check.)
- Confirm Launch: After verifying parameters, pay ~0.0000042 GT (~$0.00007 USD) for gas fees. The system will automatically deploy the token contract and create the trading pair. The token launch is effective immediately.
2.3 Exclusive Incentives for Token Creators
- 10% Trading Fee Share: Before liquidity migration (during internal trading), 10% of all trading fees will be distributed to the creator’s wallet as real-time incentives.
- 50 GT Graduation Reward: When a token graduates (100% progress migration to Gate Swap), creators receive a 50 GT cash reward and unlock long-term trading fee sharing rights.

3. How to Trade Gate Fun Issued Tokens
Users can trade Gate Fun issued tokens seamlessly on Gate Alpha , Gate Web3 , Meme GO , and Swap , with both internal and external trading profits counted in real-time.

- Gate Alpha: Open the Gate App or official website → go to the “Alpha” section → find the “Gate Fun Token Trading Zone” to trade.
- Gate Web3: Visit the Gate Web3 website or open the Web3 section in the app → go to “Trading Market” → filter by the “Gate Fun Issued Tokens” category.
- Meme Go: Visit the Meme Go website → connect your wallet or log in with your Gate account → find Gate Fun issued tokens in the token list.
- Swap: Visit the Swap platform → select “Liquidity Pool” or “Spot Trading” → enter the target token symbol to search and trade.

4.1 Trading Ladder Contest Participation Rules:
Eligibility:
a. Must register with a new Gate Layer on-chain wallet address that has no prior token trading records; transfers in/out are prohibited after registration. It’s recommended to create a new Gate Layer on-chain address for participation.
b. Initial GT balance of the participating wallet must be ≤ 50 GT , and the wallet may only hold GT before registration.
Trading Requirement: Only trades of Gate Fun-issued tokens count. Both internal and external trades are included, and a minimum total trading volume of 5 GT during the event is required to qualify for ranking.
Ranking & Rewards: After the event, wallets will be ranked by GT balance (non-GT tokens must be converted to GT beforehand). The top 1,000 wallets will receive rewards (profits must be positive); ties are resolved by registration time.

- Self-trading, wash trading, or other cheating is prohibited; violators will be disqualified.
- Manual checks on malicious or accidental transfers may result in only deducting transferred tokens without affecting ranking.
- If cheating is detected in the top 10, rewards will be redistributed; beyond the top 10, violators will be disqualified with no redistribution.
4.2 Creator Ladder Contest
Participation: Register on the event page; only tokens created after registration count toward competition results.
Qualification: At the end of the event, tokens must meet: ≥ 5 trading users and ≥ 50 GT total trading volume .
Ranking: The top 100 tokens per creator address (by market value; if fewer than 100, count actual) will be ranked by total market value at the end of the event. The Top 50 will be selected as the winner.

Eligible Projects: Gate Fun-issued tokens with a “cat” theme (name or avatar must include a cat element, language unrestricted).

Eligibility & Evaluation:
- Basic Requirements: Issued > 48h, market cap ≥ $500,000, ≥ 1,000 holders, top 10 addresses ≤ 25% of holdings, healthy distribution.
- Core Evaluation: Community recognition (social activity, engagement, holding growth), liquidity health (trading volume, pool depth, Swap performance), and narrative innovation (theme, visual identity, functional uniqueness).
Spot Listing Reward: Top 10 candidates: each creator receives 100 GT . Up to 1 qualified project may receive a free spot listing on Gate and join the GateLayer ecosystem priority support list.
