The leading BIP-110-supporting miner Roughnecks announced on X on Aug. 9 that it was stopping mining and called on all miners still mining the BIP-110 chain under the current algorithm to stop. The split between the Bitcoin main chain and the BIP-110 chain began at block height 961,632.
