Korean Won Strengthens Against Yen; 100 Yen Falls to 863.5 Won, Down 5.9% in One Month

According to Investing.com, on September 3, the Korean won-to-Japanese yen exchange rate fell to 863.5 won per 100 yen, hitting its lowest level since November 2023 and down 5.9% over the past month. The currency pair had dropped to 854 won during intraday trading and has declined approximately 10% since the end of the second quarter. Related yen investment ETFs, including the TIGER Japan Yen Futures ETF, fell 5.6% over the same period, though retail investors have begun accumulating positions at lower valuations.
