ByteDance Secures $29.6 Billion Syndicated Loan, Up from Initial $20 Billion Target

According to reports, ByteDance is set to secure a $29.6 billion syndicated loan. The company initially planned to raise $20 billion but increased the scale due to strong bank participation. The funds will be used for general corporate purposes. The deal has not yet been formally executed, with banks still confirming allocation amounts. Once completed, the loan will become Asia's second-largest dollar-denominated syndicated loan this year, trailing only SoftBank Group's $40 billion bridge loan in March.
