China's Sci-Tech 50 Index Retreats 0.4% on Sept 3, Shanghai Exchange Rises 0.02%

According to PANews and reported by CNFinance, China's three major indices pulled back after opening higher on September 3. The Sci-Tech 50 Index fell 0.4%, while the Shanghai Composite Index rose 0.02%, the Shenzhen Component Index gained 0.1%, and the ChiNext Index edged up 0.01%. Combined trading volume across Shanghai and Shenzhen markets reached 1.76 trillion yuan, down 32.3 billion yuan from the previous trading day. Over 3,500 stocks declined across the broader market, with high-flying stocks facing persistent selloffs.
