Spain October Final CPI MoM Released: Moderate Price Growth

The Spanish National Statistics Institute released the final October Consumer Price Index (CPI) month-on-month data at 15:00 on October 14, 2026.The previous reading was 0.60%. This month’s data reflects changes in the prices of goods and services purchased by Spanish consumers. The Consumer Price Index is a key indicator for measuring inflation, expressing the rate of price change as a percentage.A decline in the index may indicate a potential economic recession, which is unfavorable for currency performance. Conversely, moderate price increases suggest stable economic growth and are supportive of the national currency. However, excessive price increases can erode purchasing power and negatively impact the exchange rate. This indicator is of medium importance and is released monthly on a regular schedule.
