I. What Is a CFD Position Trial Voucher?

A CFD Position Trial Voucher is platform-provided margin (bonus funds) that you can use to open a trial position in the CFD contract market. After you use a trial voucher, the system will open a position at the market price in the specified market, with the specified leverage and position value. You can close the position, set take-profit and stop-loss orders, and perform other actions just as you would with a regular position, allowing you to try CFD contract trading at zero cost. The platform covers any losses.

Key Features

Feature Description
Zero-cost trial Margin is provided by the platform
Losses covered by the platform Profits belong to you; losses are offset by the bonus funds. Bonus funds can only offset losses up to the corresponding bonus amount. You are responsible for any excess losses.
Can offset fees Bonus funds can offset opening fees, swap fees, and the loss portion of P&L when closing a position (up to the bonus amount).
Automatically reclaimed upon expiration When the position expires, the system will automatically close it at the market price and reclaim the bonus funds.

Usage Restrictions

  • Only one trial position per market: For the same underlying asset, such as gold (XAU), you can only hold one trial position regardless of the leverage used.
  • Multiple markets supported: You can use trial vouchers separately in different markets, such as XAU and the S&P 500.
  • Bonus funds cannot be transferred out: Trial position bonus funds may only be used for trading and cannot be transferred to other accounts.
  • Early automatic position closure: When a trial position incurs a loss of more than 90%, the system will automatically close it. Closing at the market price may involve slippage, so the final return rate you see may differ.

Step 2: A quick access entry for Position Trial Vouchers is also available below the [Assets] section in the lower-right corner of the CFD trading page. Up to three vouchers are displayed. To view all vouchers, click [View More] to go to Voucher Center.

Use a Position Trial Voucher

Step 1: Before use, make sure you have opened a TradFi account and do not have a trial position in that market. If you have not opened a TradFi account, you will be prompted to do so when clicking [Use Now]. If you already hold a trial position in that market, you must close it before using the voucher.

Step 2: After clicking [Use Now], select a position direction in the order placement window: long or short. The order price is the market price, and the system calculates the order quantity based on the bonus funds and leverage. The actual filled quantity shall prevail.

4

Step 3: Once the requirements are met, click [Confirm] to complete the action. The position is opened using a market order, and the system will make every effort to open a position with a value close to the voucher’s face value. Due to market fluctuations, any unused bonus funds will be immediately reclaimed.

Step 4: After successful use, you will receive a trial position. You can distinguish it from a regular position by the [Trial Position] tag and the countdown displayed on the position.

Step 5: Trial positions support essentially the same actions as regular positions, including setting take-profit and stop-loss orders and closing positions.

IV. Position Trial Voucher Trading Rules and Offset Details

Trading Rules

  • Position Trial Vouchers can only be used to open positions at the market price in the CFD contract market specified on the voucher, using the leverage specified on the voucher.
  • You can hold up to one trial position in the same market, while holding trial positions in different markets at the same time.
  • When a trial position expires, the system will automatically close it at the market price and reclaim the bonus funds.
  • The countdown is calculated in trading days and excludes market closure days. If the position expiration time falls on an early market close for a holiday, the system will adjust the closing time to before the market closes for that holiday. For information on whether the market will close early for a holiday, please refer to announcements published in the Announcement Center.
  • The system will notify you via an in-site message 1 hour before expiration. Please manage your position promptly.

Offset Details

  • When opening a position: Bonus funds can offset the opening fee. If any remaining bonus funds cannot be used to open the position, the system will immediately reclaim them.

  • When closing a position: Bonus funds will first offset losses, including the opening fee, P&L from position reductions, and swap fees. Any portion of the bonus funds not used to offset losses will also be reclaimed. Profits will be automatically credited to your account.

  • Bonus funds can only offset losses up to the corresponding bonus amount: For example, if the bonus amount is 10 USDT and you incur a loss of 50 USDT, only 10 USDT can be offset. You are responsible for the remaining 40 USDT in excess losses.

  • Bonus funds can only be used once when opening a trial position. If the bonus funds cannot be reclaimed promptly when the position is closed, the system will automatically perform a reclamation task, and you may see multiple reclamation records.

V. Notes

When using a CFD Position Trial Voucher, please keep the following points in mind:

  • Prerequisites for use: You must have opened a TradFi account, have no trial position in the same market, and use the voucher during market trading hours (it cannot be used when the market is closed).
  • Trading restrictions: You cannot modify the leverage or increase the position size of a trial position. Bonus funds cannot be transferred out.
  • Market fluctuations: Positions are opened using market orders, and the actual filled quantity shall prevail. Extreme market conditions may cause the position opening to fail. Please try again later as prompted.
  • Position closure and offsets: When closing a position, losses are offset by the bonus funds. Bonus funds can only offset losses up to the corresponding bonus amount. You are responsible for any excess losses, while profits will be credited to your account.
  • Time limit: Position Trial Vouchers have an expiration date. Trial positions created after using a voucher have a countdown to closure. Once the countdown ends, the system will automatically close the position and reclaim the bonus funds.

VI. FAQ

Can Position Trial Vouchers be transferred?

Trial vouchers are account-specific benefits and cannot be transferred to other accounts.

Why can't I use a Position Trial Voucher?

Please check whether:

  1. You have opened a TradFi account;
  2. You already hold a trial position in that market (you must close it first);
  3. The market is currently within trading hours (the voucher cannot be used when the market is closed).

What happens when a trial position expires?

The system will automatically close the position at the market price upon expiration and reclaim the trial position bonus funds. Any profit generated will be credited to your account, while losses will be offset by the bonus funds. Bonus funds can only offset losses up to the corresponding bonus amount. You are responsible for any excess losses.

Can I hold multiple trial positions at the same time?

Yes. You can use trial vouchers in different markets, but you can only hold one trial position in the same market. For example, you can hold trial positions in the XAUUSD and XAGUSD markets at the same time.

Can trial position bonus funds be transferred out?

No. Trial position bonus funds may only be used for trading and cannot be transferred out. Any attempt to transfer bonus funds out will be blocked.

What should I do if I receive the message "The current market is highly volatile. Please try again later" when opening a position?

Under extreme market conditions, price fluctuations may cause the available number of lots to change. Please click [Open Position] again later to retry.

Why is the position value after opening different from the voucher’s face value?

  1. An opening fee must be paid when opening a position, which uses part of the bonus funds;
  2. Market fluctuations may prevent all bonus funds from being used to open the position. The actual filled quantity shall prevail. (Unused bonus funds will be immediately reclaimed.)

A message indicates that the market is closed when I use the voucher. How can I check trading hours?

You can view detailed trading hours for each market under Contract Information on the candlestick chart page.

What happens to trial positions when the market closes early for a holiday?

During holidays, some CFD contracts may close early. For specific market closing arrangements, please check the relevant announcements in the Announcement Center. If the expiration closing time of a trial position falls at the holiday market close, the system will adjust the closing time to before the market closes for that holiday.

Why was my trial position automatically closed?

Trial positions are time-limited. Once the countdown ends, the system will automatically close the position and reclaim the bonus funds. The system will notify you via an in-site message 1 hour before expiration. Please manage your position promptly.

Why are there multiple reclamation records in my fund history?

When you use a Position Trial Voucher, you receive trial position bonus funds. The bonus funds can only be used once when opening a trial position, and the system checks whether they need to offset losses when the position is closed. Any bonus funds not needed to offset losses will be reclaimed. Therefore, multiple reclamation records may be generated in the following scenarios:

  1. If there are unused bonus funds when the position is opened, they will be reclaimed immediately.

  2. If you make a profit when the position is closed, the bonus funds do not need to offset losses and will be reclaimed.

  3. If the bonus funds cannot be reclaimed promptly when the position is closed, the system will automatically perform a reclamation task after you no longer hold any positions, and you may also see multiple reclamation records.
