Objective
This guide explains how to recover your account on the Gate Web platform by submitting identity verification documents.
Steps
Step 1: Prepare Your Verification Documents
- Obtain the ID number you used for identity verification (such as your ID card number or passport number).
- Take a photo of yourself holding your ID document and a piece of paper. On the paper, clearly write:
- Your Gate account UID (if you remember it)
- Your real name
- The phrase "Request to retrieve account under my name"
- The application date (format: YYYY-MM-DD)
Step 2: Submit Your Application
Send the prepared documents via email to support@gate.com
Step 3: Wait for Review Results
After submitting your application, you'll receive a confirmation email with a receipt number. The support team will review your request within 1–3 business days and notify you of the result by email.
Important Notes
‑ In the photo, your face must be clearly visible, and the information on your ID and the content on the paper must be unobstructed and legible.
‑ The ID number you provide must match the one used during your original identity verification.
‑ Before submitting your application, we recommend trying to recover your account using your registered phone number or email address through the [Forgot Password] feature.

A: Yes, you can. If you don't remember your UID, simply write "UID forgotten" on the paper. Make sure all other information, including your name, ID number, and application date, is accurate and complete.

A: The support team will review your application and send you the result by email within 1–3 business days. If you don't receive a response within 3 business days, please check your spam or junk mail folder.
