How to Add Your Gate Card to Google Pay

Gate Card supports Google Pay. You can add either your virtual or physical card to your Google Pay wallet for in-store (POS) or online payments, as long as the merchant accepts Google Pay.

  1. Open the Google Pay or Google Wallet app. (If you haven’t installed it yet, download it from the Google Play Store.)
  2. Tap Wallet + at the bottom.
  3. Select Payment CardAdd Credit or Debit Card.
  4. Use your camera to scan the card information, or enter the details manually.
  5. Tap Save.
  6. Review the issuer’s terms and tap Accept.
  7. If prompted, choose a verification method from the list.
  8. Enter the verification code you received to complete the process.
*If you don’t receive the SMS verification code due to channel issues, please use the email verification code instead.

After adding your card, you may notice a small temporary transaction on your statement. This is a verification charge from Google Wallet to confirm your card’s validity. The transaction will disappear shortly and won’t affect your balance.
Transactions made with Google Pay’s contactless payment are not subject to the usual “contactless payment limit” for card swipes, as Google Pay is considered more secure. However, some merchants may set their own limits for Google Pay payments.

How to Add Your Gate Card to Apple Pay

First, confirm whether your Gate Card type supports Apple Pay binding. If it does, you can add either your virtual or physical Gate Card to your Apple Wallet and enjoy secure, convenient payments at any POS terminal or online merchant that supports Apple Pay.
Steps:

  1. Open the Wallet app on your iPhone
  2. Tap the “+” button in the upper right corner
  3. Select “Debit or Credit Card”, then tap “Continue”
  4. Use your iPhone camera to scan the card information, or choose to enter it manually
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions and tap “Next”
  6. Read and agree to the Issuer’s Terms and Conditions
  7. If prompted, select a verification method from the list
  8. Enter the verification code received via SMS or email
*If you don’t receive the SMS verification code due to channel issues, please use the email verification code instead.

To verify your card, Apple may initiate a small authorization charge, which will be reversed shortly and won’t affect your account balance.
Some merchants may set transaction limits for Apple Pay payments.
