1. What is an Event Contract Experience Voucher?

An Event Contract Experience Voucher is a bonus provided by the platform, allowing you to open a trial position in the Event Contracts market. Event Contracts are a trading product centered on “price direction prediction,” focusing on short-term directional trades. They require no leverage, no margin calculations, and feature a straightforward trading logic consisting of three main actions: open (buy), early close, and settlement at expiry. Event Contracts support multi-period up/down trading for major assets like BTC and ETH.

When you use an Experience Voucher to open a position, you can try Event Contract trading at zero cost: the platform covers both the principal and transaction fees. Any profits are yours to keep, while any losses are covered by the platform.

Key Features

Feature Description
Zero-Cost Experience The platform provides the principal via the bonus, so you don’t need to use your own funds
Covers Principal & Fees The bonus covers both the opening principal and trading fees
Profits Are Yours, Losses Are Covered Profits from trial positions are yours; losses are covered by the platform, and no assets will be deducted from your account
Trial Position Label Positions and related orders opened with a voucher are labeled “Trial Position” for easy identification
Simplified Fund Flows No fund flows are generated during buy, sell, or settlement; only profits from closing or settlement generate a “Trial Position Profit” transaction. Losses do not generate any transaction record

Usage Restrictions

  • You can only hold one trial position per market.
  • Multiple markets supported: You can use Experience Vouchers in different Event Contract markets.
  • Before opening a position with a voucher, you must not have any positions or pending orders in the target market (if you do, use the [One-Click Setup] feature for quick handling).
  • Bonus funds are non-transferable: The Experience Voucher bonus can only be used for this trial trade and cannot be withdrawn, transferred, or used elsewhere.
  • Trial positions cannot be added to or stacked with other Experience Vouchers.
  • Only market orders are supported for opening positions.

2. How to Use Event Contract Experience Vouchers (Web)

Viewing Event Contract Experience Vouchers

Step 1: Go to [Voucher Center] - [Event Contract Experience Voucher] to see your available vouchers. Click [Use Now] to jump to the Event Contract page.

Step 2: There’s also a quick access entry for vouchers on the Event Contracts trading page, so you can use your voucher to open a position without going back to the Voucher Center.

Switching Market Periods

On the trading page, you can directly switch to your preferred market period (e.g., 9:55~10:00, 10:00~10:05, etc.). After switching, you’ll use the current quote for the selected period to open a position with your voucher.

One-Click Setup (If You Have Existing Positions or Orders in the Target Market)

Before opening a position with a voucher, you must not have any positions or pending orders in the target market. If you do, we provide a quick adjustment option:

Step 1: Click [One-Click Setup] to view your current status (existing positions or pending orders) in the pop-up. Step 2: After confirming, the system will automatically close your positions and cancel any pending orders, making the target market eligible for voucher use. You can then proceed to open a position. **Note:** Closing via One-Click Setup will be executed at market price and may incur slippage. Please confirm before proceeding.

Opening a Position with an Experience Voucher

Step 1: Select the Event Contract market and period you’re interested in, then choose either the bullish or bearish direction.
Step 2: Click [Confirm]. The system will automatically calculate the expected open quantity based on the voucher value and current executable quote. You don’t need to enter price, quantity, or cost—just confirm to open the position.

Step 3: Once the position is opened, you’ll receive a trial position, which will be labeled as “Trial Position” in your positions list.

Step 4: Trial positions support viewing and partial close operations, which work just like regular positions. Any remaining position at expiry is settled automatically by the system.

4. Trading Rules

  1. When using an Event Contract Experience Voucher, positions are always opened as market orders. The system calculates the open quantity based on the voucher value and the current executable quote; the final quantity depends on the actual trade.
  2. Only market orders are supported for opening positions; you can choose either bullish or bearish direction.
  3. The bonus covers all opening costs (principal + trading fees), so you don’t pay any of your own funds.
  4. If you have multiple vouchers, you cannot stack them in the same market; vouchers can only be used for opening new positions, not for adding to existing ones.
  5. Other than not supporting adding to positions, trial positions function exactly like regular positions: you can close or partially close at any time, and any remaining position at expiry is settled automatically by the system.
  6. Profits belong to the user, losses are covered by the platform: After closing or settlement, any profits are automatically credited to your account and are freely available; losses are covered by the platform and will not be deducted from your other balances, positions, or future earnings.

5. Fund Flow Explanation

To reduce unnecessary statement clutter, the visible fund flows for trial positions are simplified:

  • Opening a position with a voucher: No fund flow is generated.
  • Closing or settling with a profit: The system creates a corresponding “Trial Position Profit” transaction, and the profit is credited instantly.
  • Closing or settling with a loss: No fund flow is generated; the platform covers the loss.
  • If a position is closed for profit multiple times (e.g., partial closes with profit), each will generate a corresponding profit transaction, so you may see multiple records in your fund flow list.

Example Scenarios

Scenario Fund Flow You See
Closing with Profit A “Trial Position Profit” transaction is created and the profit is credited
Closing with Loss No transaction is generated; the platform covers the loss
Settlement with Profit A “Trial Position Profit” transaction is created and the profit is credited
Settlement with Loss No transaction is generated; the platform covers the loss

Example: If you close a single trial position twice for profit and once for a loss, and also earn a profit at settlement, you’ll see three “Trial Position Profit” records in your fund flow. Losses will not appear in the statement.

6. Frequently Asked Questions

Can Event Contract Experience Vouchers be transferred?

No. Event Contract Experience Vouchers are exclusive to your account and cannot be transferred to other accounts.

Will I lose my own money if my trial position loses?

No. The principal and all fees for trial positions are covered by the platform’s bonus. If you incur a loss, it’s covered by the platform, and none of your own assets will be deducted or clawed back.

Can I withdraw the profits?

Yes. Profits from closing or settlement are credited instantly and become your available funds. You can withdraw them or use them for other trades as normal.

Can I hold multiple trial positions at the same time?

Yes. You can use Experience Vouchers in different markets, but you can only hold one trial position per market.

Can the trial position bonus be transferred out?

No. The bonus can only be used for this trial trade and cannot be withdrawn, transferred, or used for other purposes.

Why can’t I see buy, sell, or settlement records for my trial position in my fund flow?

This is due to the simplified display rule for trial positions: buy, sell, settlement, refund, and bonus recovery transactions are not shown. Only “Trial Position Profit” transactions for closing or settlement profits are displayed. Your actual profit/loss and credited amounts are not affected.

Why can’t I open a position even though I have a voucher?

Common reasons include: you already have a position, order, or pending transaction in the target market; or the market has stopped trading. Please follow the prompts on the page to resolve the issue and try again.

What should I do if I get a message saying there’s already a position or order in the market when using a voucher?

You can click [One-Click Setup] and, after confirming the status in the pop-up, the system will automatically close your position and cancel any pending orders, making the market eligible for voucher use. Please note that closing via One-Click Setup is executed at market price and may incur slippage.

What happens when a trial position expires?

At expiry, the system will automatically settle any remaining open quantity. If you make a profit, a “Trial Position Profit” transaction is generated and the profit is credited to your account. If there’s a loss, it’s covered by the platform and no transaction is generated.
