The process for using TED in this governance mechanism is as follows: first deposit TED into the governance pool, which issues TEDv to depositors accordingly; TEDv is the certificate of voting power corresponding to deposited TED. In other words, simply holding TED and exercising voting power under the pool's rules through TEDv in the pool are two different states. To withdraw the original TED later, the corresponding TEDv must be returned according to the pool mechanism.

TED is the original governance token; TEDv is a certificate received after a user deposits TED into the governance pool to represent the corresponding voting power, rather than an additional underlying holding. Their relationship is linked by deposits into and withdrawals from the pool: depositing TED yields TEDv, and withdrawing requires returning the corresponding TEDv in order to recover the previously deposited TED. Therefore, TEDv should not be confused with a reward that independently increases a user's underlying assets.

What happens when TED is deposited into the governance pool?

Depositing TED into the governance pool creates both a voting-power certificate and eligibility for reward distribution: the pool issues TEDv to depositors and distributes rewards linearly over time based on the amount of TED each has deposited. The total annual reward allocation is determined by DAO governance; when the annual total is fixed, a larger total amount deposited in the pool will generally change the displayed annualized rate associated with the same deposit. Therefore, the annualized level displayed on the page is an indicator based on the pool's state, not a fixed or guaranteed return.

Can TED be withdrawn after being deposited in the governance pool?

Yes. The governance pool allows any amount of TED to be deposited, and its rules state that there is no lock-up period, so users may initiate a withdrawal at any time; however, withdrawal is not a single step of taking out TED. The corresponding TEDv for that deposit must be returned under the pool mechanism in order to recover the original TED. No lock-up period means there is no preset waiting period; it does not mean that on-chain transactions, wallet signatures, or network processing at that time do not exist.

Can any amount of TED be deposited into the governance pool?

The governance pool allows any amount of TED to be deposited. The deposited amount determines both the scale of voting power represented by the corresponding TEDv and the basis for linear reward distribution; however, reward outcomes are also affected by the annual allocation decided by the DAO and the total amount deposited in the pool. Therefore, the ability to deposit any amount does not mean every amount will receive rewards at a fixed rate or in a fixed amount.
