Human energy is not a substance like a battery that can simply be stored and consumed, but rather a potential energy generated by differences, blockages, and rebalancing. The greater the contrast between a person and their environment, the higher the potential energy: maintaining calm amid chaos, exercising restraint amid excessive satisfaction—this "difference" itself creates an energy differential, just as water can generate electricity through height differences. Eating less keeps the body light and sensitive, calmness prevents consciousness from being pulled by thoughts, and both are actively creating this differential, thereby elevating a person's inner energy state.

Further, true energy comes from blockage rather than flow. Like dams and electrical resistors, only when energy is appropriately retained and accumulated does it transform into actionable power. Constantly satisfying desires and constantly following emotions may seem unobstructed, but this actually causes energy to dissipate ineffectively; whereas restraining diet and stilling wandering thoughts actually compel the body and consciousness to activate deeper self-regulation and integration mechanisms.

Ultimately, all of this is not meant to make people stronger or more efficient at pursuing worldly goals, but rather to return the body and consciousness to their original rhythm and position. When the body is no longer driven by desire and consciousness is no longer distorted by emotion, a person transforms from "someone who forcefully controls everything" into "someone who clearly observes everything." At this point, energy is not possessed or manipulated, but naturally flows and manifests through a clear, simple individual—this is what is called "the highest quality of energy."
