Gate Futures Copy Trading

How to Copy?

Accepted Answer

Go to Copy Trading, select a lead trader, tap Copy, and enter your amount in Smart Mode and you can start copy trading with the trader's parameters.

Question 2

Why do copiers and lead traders earn differently?

Accepted Answer

The profit difference may result from factors like manual position closure by copiers, different contract costs, changes in the lead trader's margin, leverage mismatches, copy multiplier settings, slippage, or copying failure due to shared risk limits.

Question 3

How to become a lead trader?

Question 4

How to use copy trading on Gate futures?

Accepted Answer

To use copy trading on Gate futures, simply choose a futures trader you want to follow, set your copy settings—such as margin, leverage, and stop-loss—and confirm to start copying their trades. Once activated, your futures positions will automatically mirror the trader's long and short orders in real time.

Question 5

How can I identify the trading styles of different lead traders in copy trading?

Accepted Answer

You can evaluate a lead trader's style through their profile tags. Combined with key metrics like return rate, total profit, and Sharpe Ratio, you can then find the one that best matches your goal.

Question 6

What is the minimum capital required to participate in copy trading?

Accepted Answer

Each trader sets their own minimum copy amount. In Smart Mode, traders can choose a starting investment from 10 USDT, while some set their copy thresholds at 50 USDT, 100 USDT, 300 USDT, etc.
