After trading for 5 years and seeing too many people, I’ve learned a bunch of indicators—but in the end, the market still teaches you how to behave.
It’s not that indicators are useless; it’s that you’re using them at the wrong stage.
In the beginner phase, the more complex the method, the faster you’ll die.
Today, I’m making public the “15-Minute Minimalist Trading Method” I’ve used for 5 years—no tricks, just real-world experience:
1️⃣ Set the big direction (don’t trade against the trend)
On the 1-hour chart, look at the MA60 moving average.
If the price is above the MA60, only consider going long; if it’s below, only consider going short.
For counter-trend orders, I won’t touch them—I've been burned before, and I know how painful it is.
2️⃣ Find the key levels (don’t chase price)
On the 15-minute chart, find the nearest support and resistance levels.
Go long at support; go short at resistance—never chase highs or lows.
3️⃣ Wait for the signals to enter (don’t gamble on the location)
Don’t place orders early just to bet on where the price will be. Wait for the price to pull back to the key levels.
For longs, wait for a bullish candle with a long lower wick; for shorts, wait for a bearish candle with a long upper wick.
If the signal doesn’t show up, don’t enter.
4️⃣ Lock down risk management (don’t hold bag)
Set your stop-loss on the outer side of the key levels, with position size fixed at 1%; loss on any single trade must never exceed 1% of your account.
Holding through losses is a dead end—I’ll never do it.
I’ve been using this method since I started trading full-time. I don’t chase too much—I only trade what I can understand.
For beginners, it’s enough to train your rhythm and your mindset.
Save this—stop trading blindly.
