Sports betting company SharpLink Gaming announced a 30 million USD increase in holding ETH, and the rise was 7%.

Gate News bot message, according to Cointelegraph, sports betting company SharpLink Gaming closed up 7% on Tuesday after increasing its Ether holdings by $30 million.

SharpLink stated on Tuesday that in the week ending June 20 (Friday), the company purchased 12,207 ETH at an average price of $2513, currently holding over 188,000 ETH worth $457.4 million.

SharpLink stated that the company sold 2.54 million shares of stock, raising $27.7 million, with most of the proceeds used for Ethereum investments.

The company added that as of Friday, it has staked all of its ETH, generating a total of 120 ETH worth $293,000.

SharpLink board chairman and co-founder of Ethereum, Joseph Lubin, stated that increasing the holdings of Ether will "create long-term value for our shareholders."

In May of this year, SharpLink raised $425 million for its ETH purchase plan and appointed Lubin as chairman of the board.

On June 13, SharpLink acquired ETH worth 4.63 billion US dollars, making it the largest listed company in terms of ETH holdings.
