They have $150B in cash reserves & shipped:
genAI emojis (???)
Live translation (there’s a million apps that do this)
Local model developer framework (Google shipped a better version of this weeks ago)
Not to mention the colossal f*ck up with Siri AI being pushed to 2026 after already being pushed from *last years WWDC*
No dedicated hardware announcements either.
There’s obviously a organisational issue at play here.
When Apple does launch products they usually have a low failure rate
that’s because they’re usually last to the trend - but they nail it.
I’m hoping this is another case of that.
Their last real moat is hardware device distribution.
