PANews reported on June 21 that Arweave's public testnet, Arweave AO, announced the launch of the 'AI on AO' program on the X platform, aiming to introduce on-chain open source large language models (LLMs) to bring any AI model (not just LLMs) onto the chain. Based on the Apus Network and utilizing Arweave's permanent on-chain storage, it is building a decentralized and trustless GPU network dedicated to providing reliable, efficient, and low-cost computing power for AI training and inference. AI data on AO can be uploaded to Arweave's models via ArDrive.
