Mars Finance News April 20 — The three major Hong Kong stock indices all rose collectively today. By the close, the Hang Seng Index increased by 0.77%, the China Enterprises Index rose by 0.61%, and the Hang Seng Tech Index gained 0.46%.
Pre-market, most of the heavyweight tech stocks were active, with Tencent up over 2%, Xiaomi up 1%, Baidu and Alibaba rising within 1%, Meituan down 1.58%;
AI applications performed relatively strongly, with QuantumCore Technology’s second-day trading doubling again, and Mafu Time, Zhipu, and MiniMax all showing strength;
Domestic bank stocks continued to rise, with ICBC, Agricultural Bank, and China Construction Bank reaching new highs;
Aerospace stocks rebounded collectively, photovoltaic solar stocks were active throughout the day, military industry stocks expanded their gains in the afternoon, and power, catering, and insurance stocks all rose.
On the other hand, the situation between the US and Iran remains complex and uncertain, with geopolitical risk premiums rapidly retreating from high levels, oil stocks were sluggish all day, with China National Petroleum Corporation falling over 3%;
