China News Network, Beijing, March 29 (Reporter Xu Jing) The parallel forum of the 2026 Zhongguancun Forum Annual Conference— the Beijing International Youth Innovation and Development Forum was held on the 28th. At the event, the list of 2025 Zhongguancun U30 winners was released, and the work to recruit and select winners for the 2026 Zhongguancun U30 was launched.

At the forum venue, the representative of the initiators of Zhongguancun U30 and the CEO of Lenovo Holdings, Yu Hao, officially released the list of 2025 Zhongguancun U30 winners. Thirty young entrepreneurs who are deeply engaged in cutting-edge fields were listed. The winners display clear characteristics of starting from a high point, focusing on hard technology, and growing rapidly.

According to statistics, the average age of the 30 winners in 2025 was only 29 years old, with the youngest being 21 years old, demonstrating the vigorous vitality of the youth group; the educational background advantage is significant—there are 23 people with a master’s degree or above, including 12 with doctoral degrees. They graduated from top universities at home and abroad. Most of them studied under academicians or internationally authoritative scholars in their fields. During their study, they participated in nationally recognized key projects, hold multiple patents, and have solid technical reserves and strong innovation capabilities.

In terms of enterprise development, the companies where 25 of the winners are located have completed one round of financing or more, with the maximum being 6 rounds. These companies broadly布局 future industries such as artificial intelligence and humanoid robots, as well as emerging industries such as life health and biopharmaceuticals, and key sectors such as the digital economy and cultural and creative industries. In their respective sub-sectors, they have achieved breakthroughs and taken leading positions, providing nearly a thousand jobs for society in total, injecting youthful momentum into industrial upgrading and economic development.

Certificates were presented on site to the 30 winners, and together with the winners, the 2026 Zhongguancun U30 recruitment and selection work was also jointly launched. The discovery and empowerment of a new wave of youth innovation momentum has officially kicked off.

The 2026 Zhongguancun U30 will continue to focus on the layout of high-precision, advanced, and cutting-edge industries, closely aligning with the development needs of new quality productive forces. It will focus on young innovation and entrepreneurship groups under 35 years old, and, around seven major areas including future industries, strategic emerging industries, and the digital economy, select young “breakthrough makers” who have outstanding innovation ability, strong cutting-edge technology strength, and a spirit of breakthrough.

To help selected participants grow quickly, the platform will provide multidimensional, full-chain enabling and support, including promotion of resources for Beijing subway and bus advertising, customized entrepreneurship training from leading investment institutions, targeted recommendations from communities of outstanding young entrepreneurs, and more. At the same time, it will preferentially recommend selected participants to join high-quality platforms such as the Beijing Youth Federation and the Youth Federation of Haidian District, providing full-cycle protection for the growth and success of youth entrepreneurs.

The Zhongguancun U30 event was initiated in Haidian in 2015. It is jointly hosted by the China Association for Science and Technology Science and Technology Communication Center, the Beijing Municipal Talent Work Bureau, the Communist Youth League Beijing Municipal Committee, the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission, and the Zhongguancun Science and Technology Park Management Committee, together with the People’s Government of Haidian District of Beijing.
