记者从国网河南电力公司获悉，3月25日，河南电网“十五五”时期首个特高压工程——1000千伏豫南特高压变电站主变扩建工程（简称“豫南扩工程”）开工建设。
The reporter learned from the State Grid Henan Electric Power Company that on March 25, the first UHV project of the Henan Power Grid during the “14th Five-Year Plan” period - the 1000 kV Southern Henan UHV Substation main transformer expansion project (referred to as “Southern Henan Expansion Project”) started construction.

该工程投产后将增加供电能力50%，进一步提升电网安全运行与电力供应保障水平，助推能源绿色低碳转型。
After the project is put into operation, it will increase the power supply capacity by 50%, further enhance the safe operation of the power grid and the level of power supply guarantee, and promote the green and low-carbon transformation of energy.

1000千伏豫南变电站于2020年6月底投运，是青海—河南±800千伏特高压直流工程受端站豫南换流变电站的组成部分，也是华中电网1000千伏双“日”字形环网的重要节点，承担着疏解落地河南西北清洁电力的重要职能。
The 1000 kV Southern Henan Substation was put into operation at the end of June 2020 and is part of the Qinghai-Henan ±800 kV UHV DC project terminal station, the Southern Henan Converter Substation. It is also an important node in the 1000 kV double “day” shaped ring network of the Central China Power Grid, undertaking the important function of relieving and delivering clean electricity from the northwest of Henan.

豫南扩工程总投资4.19亿元，计划扩建1组300万千伏安主变作为2号主变，新建2个1000千伏电气间隔、2个500千伏电气间隔，以及相应无功补偿及二次系统工程。
The total investment of the Southern Henan Expansion Project is 419 million yuan, planning to expand 1 set of 3 million kVA main transformer as the No. 2 main transformer, and to build 2 new 1000 kV electrical sections, 2 new 500 kV electrical sections, as well as corresponding reactive power compensation and secondary system projects.

该工程2027年6月建成投运后，将进一步提升豫南换流站母线的无功电压支撑能力，优化加强华中电网网架结构，提升大电网供电能力和安全稳定水平，更好承接西部“沙戈荒”等新能源基地电力输送，促进跨区能源资源优化配置，支撑建设能源强国。
After the project is completed and put into operation in June 2027, it will further enhance the reactive voltage support capacity of the busbars of the Southern Henan Converter Station, optimize and strengthen the grid structure of the Central China Power Grid, improve the power supply capacity and safety stability level of the large power grid, better undertake the power transmission from new energy bases such as “Shagehuang” in the west, promote the optimal allocation of energy resources across regions, and support the construction of a strong energy country.

由1000千伏豫南变电站和±800千伏豫南换流站组成的豫南换流变电站，是我国首个同期同址建设、统一运维管理的特高压交直流合建站。
The Southern Henan Converter Substation, composed of the 1000 kV Southern Henan Substation and the ±800 kV Southern Henan Converter Station, is China’s first UHV AC and DC combined station built simultaneously at the same site with unified operation and maintenance management.

作为外电入豫主要通道之一，截至3月25日，豫南换流变电站已安全稳定运行2108天，累计向河南输送水电、光伏发电等清洁电能968亿千瓦时，为河南全省年用电量的五分之一左右，多年来在迎峰度夏等用电负荷高峰时段发挥顶峰保供关键作用，促进了青海等西部地区清洁能源资源开发利用。
As one of the main channels for external electricity into Henan, as of March 25, the Southern Henan Converter Substation has been operating safely and stably for 2108 days, cumulatively delivering 96.8 billion kWh of clean electricity such as hydropower and photovoltaic power to Henan, accounting for about one-fifth of the annual electricity consumption of the whole province of Henan. Over the years, it has played a key role in peak supply assurance during high electricity load periods such as the summer peak and has promoted the development and utilization of clean energy resources in western regions such as Qinghai.
