About Nomad (NOM)
Onomy Network is an application specific first layer blockchain built on the Cosmos SDK. It utilizes Cross Chain Communication Protocol (IBC) to connect with other Cosmos chains. In addition, Arc Hub integrates other blockchain ecosystems with Onomy as a center to promote interconnectivity and unified user experience between different blockchains. NOM is the original token of the Onomy Network, which is used to protect network security through Proof of Stake, and provide pledge rewards for users who hold NOM over time, whether through entrustment or as network verifiers. NOM also enables holders to participate in Onomy's governance, pay Arc bridging fees, and serve as collateral for stable currency.
