Use Cases and Features

ARPA is the utility token of ARPA Network. The network is based on threshold BLS signatures: multiple nodes work together to generate a signature, which is verified on-chain before a request is completed, reducing reliance on a single trusted party. Its infrastructure can be used for verifiable random numbers, wallet security, cross-chain bridges, and decentralized custody. Nodes can earn ARPA rewards by completing network tasks and must follow staking and conduct rules.

Supply and Issuance Mechanism

ARPA has a maximum supply of 2 billion tokens. This cap was still described as unchanged in ARPA Network’s 2023 Ethereum mainnet launch announcement. The network rewards nodes with ARPA for completing random-number submissions, BLS threshold-signature tasks, and certain node-grouping tasks under its rules; node participation is also subject to staking and penalty mechanisms to encourage timely, correct service.
