For context, Oracle is a U.S.-based technology company that provides cloud infrastructure, enterprise software, and database solutions to businesses worldwide. The company reported Q3 earnings of $1.79 per share, beating the Street estimate of $1.70, with revenue up 22% year-over-year to $17.19 billion, also surpassing expectations.
Guggenheim’s Views on ORCL Stock
DiFucci remains upbeat about Oracle’s future potential and called the company his “Best Idea” for 2026. He believes Oracle’s heavy spending on AI data centers today could lead to a major jump in cash generation later. In fact, the analyst expects the company’s free cash flow to turn into a “waterfall” by fiscal 2029 and 2030 as these investments begin to pay off.
DiFucci also pointed to Oracle’s record $553 billion contract backlog, known as Remaining Performance Obligations (RPO). This shows that demand for Oracle’s cloud and AI infrastructure remains very strong. He also highlighted Oracle’s “bring-your-own-chip” model, where large customers can supply their own chips while Oracle provides the data center power and space.
According to the analyst, this approach could lower Oracle’s costs and support long-term growth.
It is worth noting that DiFucci ranks 316 out of more than 12,000 analysts tracked by TipRanks. He has a success rate of 60%, with an average return per rating of 15.9% over a one-year timeframe.
What Is the Stock Forecast for ORCL?
