Japanese financial giant SBI Holdings and its subsidiary invested $50 million in Circle's IPO.

On June 10, Ripple partner SBI Holdings and its subsidiary SBI Shinsei Bank announced an investment of $50 million in the USDC issuer Circle following Circle's IPO. The investment was jointly funded by SBI Holdings and SBI Shinsei Bank, with each contributing $25 million, accounting for half each. Previously, SBI established a joint venture, Circle SBI Japan KK, in March 2025, aiming to promote the adoption and circulation of USDC in the Japanese market. (The Crypto Basic)
