The platform introduces a new protocol based on Layer 2, which implements DAO zero gas fee on-chain voting function through Starknet's rollup technology. Snapshot Labs COO Jeremy Musighi said this is a turning point for on-chain governance, allowing DAOs to provide free on-chain voting for the community for the first time and increasing decision-making participation. Snapshot X uses STARK extension technology and storage proof to achieve secure voting for Cross-Chain Interaction without the need to transfer tokens or pay gas fees.
