According to data from Qunar Travel, as of March 4, bookings of flights departing from Chengdu for April 1 to April 6 surged 1.5 times year-on-year, up 28% month-on-month from the previous week. At the same time, Chengdu has also ranked among the fastest-growing flight departure cities on the Qunar platform. During the spring break, departing from Chengdu, the most popular flight destinations are: Shanghai, Beijing, Sanya, Guangzhou, Hangzhou, Zhuhai, Qingdao, Wuhan, Haikou, and Jieyang. Judging from the growth of destinations, among the cities with the fastest growth, Beihai and Shangrao top the list, with growth numbering in the tens of times. Lijiang, Jieyang, Nanchang, Wuhan, and Wuxi each grew by more than 5 times. Hainan Sanya and Haikou, after the implementation of customs closure, will also welcome more Chengdu family travelers, with year-on-year growth of 5 times and 3 times, respectively.
