Guatemala's Banco Industrial launches USDC cross-border remittance service

According to Gate News bot, CoinDesk reports that Guatemala's largest bank, Banco Industrial, has partnered with blockchain company SukuPay to officially launch a cross-border remittance service based on the USDC stablecoin.

This service operates on the Polygon network, allowing users to receive remittances from the United States using their mobile phone number through the Zigi mobile application without the need to create a cryptocurrency wallet. The transaction fee is $0.99.
