The Israeli envoy to the United States stated that Iran's capability to produce ballistic weapons must also be eliminated.

According to the Gate News bot, CNN reported that Israel's ambassador to the United States stated on Wednesday that Israel must not only eliminate Iran's capability to produce nuclear weapons but also its ability to produce ballistic missiles.

"They came cruising from the air, causing unbelievable destruction," Yehiel Light told CNN reporter Caitlan Collins while discussing the Iranian missiles. "This production capacity must also be eliminated."

He added, "They cannot possibly have the weapons to destroy Israel, even though they claim they want to destroy Israel, and they think about doing so every day."

When asked whether Israel has the capability to destroy the Fordow nuclear enrichment facility located deep under a mountain near Qom, Light said, "This may require multiple strikes, possibly other actions, or it may require us to catch them off guard."

However, he did not disclose the details.

When asked how Israel would respond if the United States did not intervene in the conflict, he stated, "We still have some countermeasures."

"If we have to investigate and prosecute this matter in person, we will know what to do. We will not allow Iran to have nuclear weapons," he told Collins.
