Abstract generation in progress

Yield Guild Games (YGG) has just introduced YGG Play, a new game issuance unit focused on casual yet crypto-rich games, called "Casual Degen." The first product is named LOL Land, a browser-based board game that features characters from the Pudgy Penguins community and offers rewards in tokens.

LOL Land has two game modes: free and premium. The premium mode requires purchasing play tickets to accumulate points to exchange for YGG tokens from the reward pool worth 10 million USD. The game has attracted over 100,000 pre-registrations and is exclusively launched on Abstract Chain.

According to co-founder Gabby Dizon, YGG is shifting from investment to directly developing Web3 games, targeting crypto-native users – those who trade memecoins, mint NFTs, and enjoy speculation.

Dizon shared: "Before founding YGG, I had over 20 years of casual game development. Now I'm bringing that spirit into Web3 with a direction more aligned with market needs."

YGG expects that a strategy focused on the crypto community rather than the mainstream market will open up a potentially untapped segment of players in the Web3 gaming industry.
