Why Did XL1 (XL1) Rise in the Last 24 Hours?

XL1 had a shallow order book during the report window. The top-five-level bid-to-ask depth ratio was 3.39, with about 612,000 tokens in bids versus 180,000 in asks, indicating a bid-side imbalance. However, the largest bid was at $0.0000602, far below the price observed at the time; as a resting depth order, it offered limited support for immediate trades. An imbalanced book does not establish sustained net buying. Technical signals for the window were broadly bearish: moving averages were weak on the 4-hour and daily charts, and the daily RSI was oversold, while an ADX of just 7 indicated very weak trend strength. The 15-minute and hourly signals were neutral and did not confirm upward momentum. The candle at 19:00 UTC on 2026-11-03 closed lower. With a market capitalization of about $6 million and a shallow book, relatively small orders can have an outsized price impact. The book structure therefore helps explain sensitivity to trading, but does not by itself show that buying drove the rise; 24-hour volume data for the report window was unavailable, so changes in trading participation cannot be assessed from it.

About XL1 (XL1)

XL1 is the utility token of XYO Layer One, the first scalable data blockchain that brings verifiable information on-chain. XL1 pays gas and transaction fees (with a portion burned by activity), powers smart contracts, dApps, and validator rewards, enables bridging/wrapping to other chains, and incentivizes participation via staking and step-based rewards. The ecosystem is a dual-token: XL1 runs the chain; XYO powers the contributor network—rewards, staking, governance, and security. XYO’s DePIN, trustless oracle of 10M+ nodes, plus Proof of Location and Proof of Origin, delivers trusted data for AI, RWA, geospatial intelligence, and location-based gaming.

Use Cases and Features

XL1 is the utility token of XYO Layer One. It is used to pay Gas fees for on-chain transactions—the network fees required to execute transactions and smart contracts. It also supports smart contracts, decentralized applications, and incentives for network participation such as block production and data validation. XYO and XL1 have different roles: XYO is mainly used for staking, governance, and network security, while XL1 focuses on everyday on-chain activity.

Supply and Issuance Mechanism

38 billion XL1 were minted in the genesis block, with another 10 billion minted alongside the initial blocks during the genesis phase, for a total of 48 billion. This phase was allocated across community and investors, team and advisors, and the XYO treasury; new tokens continue to be produced with blocks afterward, but the inflation rate gradually declines, with a long-term target of about 0.7% per year. Part of the base fees is burned.
