Here, “inflation” describes the pace at which reward tokens are released over time into the available range. Higher early releases and lower later releases mean the reward-supply path changes; this does not mean every staker's return is fixed, nor can it alone determine market circulating supply at a particular time.

The EVM path calculates and distributes rewards in rolling 30-day epochs; the Cardano path uses monthly cycles and takes a snapshot at 11:30 UTC on the 1st of each month, with tokens required to be staked before that snapshot to qualify. Both paths allow unstaking at any time, but if tokens are not continuously staked throughout a complete epoch or snapshot cycle, they lose eligibility for rewards for that period.

How are WMTx staking rewards calculated and settled?

Staking rewards are calculated based on the amount of WMTx staked. The official page states that returns can be up to 5% APY, calculated monthly and automatically compounded; rewards can be claimed at the end of each epoch. “Up to” expresses a maximum and is not a fixed commitment to every participant. For the Cardano path, certain ENNFT holders can receive a staking-capacity boost: each ENNFT counts as 100,000 WMTx toward their staked balance. This boost applies only to the official description of that path and cannot be used to infer that the EVM path uses the same calculation method.
