Use Cases and Features
W3W is used in Web3.World’s farming-reward system. Depositing W3W can provide an APR boost of up to 2x and grant veW3W; locking W3W also yields veW3W. During each epoch, veW3W holders vote on farming-pool rewards for the following epoch, determining which pools receive extra APR. The deposit-related boost and voting-based allocation are separate parts of the mechanism, and neither makes the reward a fixed return.
Supply and Issuance Mechanism
W3W has a total supply cap of 200 million tokens. Of that amount, 42.25 million tokens—21.13% of the total—are allocated to liquidity mining and released linearly over 48 months. This is an allocation and release arrangement for liquidity mining, not a statement of any participant’s individual reward. Actual personal rewards are not the same as the full allocation, and the linear schedule does not alter the 200-million-token cap.
