Why Did Usual (USUAL) Fall in the Last 24 Hours?

USUAL’s technical signals on 2026-11-02 were broadly weak but mixed: the 1-hour moving averages were bearish, while the 4-hour MACD showed a bearish cross and the moving averages were bullish. The 15-minute and daily indicators were generally neutral, so the signals did not point to a consistent decline across timeframes. At that time, the top-five bid and ask orders were roughly worth $1,933 and $1,490, respectively, based on price. This suggests limited near-term depth that could magnify the price impact of small trades, but it does not represent liquidity across the entire market. A candle at 13:00 UTC on 2026-11-02 closed up 0.93%; the price later stood about 0.26% below that close, indicating a pullback after a rebound. The candle interval and volume units were unspecified, so this does not establish unusually high volume. Snapshot reference support levels were 0.010222–0.010227 and 0.010094, and resistance levels were 0.010357–0.010390 and 0.010552; these are not verified long-term levels. Technical weakness and localized liquidity are only possible explanations.

About Usual (USUAL)

Usual is a secure and decentralized fiat-backed stablecoin issuer that redistributes ownership and value through the $USUAL token

Use Cases and Features

USUAL is the governance and protocol revenue distribution token of the Usual protocol. The protocol is designed around USD0, which is backed by assets such as U.S. Treasuries, and holders can participate in governance matters including collateral, the treasury, and parameters. Staking USUAL provides USUALx; users who lock USUALx can receive part of the protocol revenue paid in USD0 weekly, while USUALx can also receive part of the daily issuance rewards.

Supply and Issuance Mechanism

USUAL has a maximum supply of 3 billion tokens; this cap was reduced from 4 billion after a governance adjustment in November 2025. Current daily issuance is about 1.35 million tokens, allocated to governance-defined categories including staking, liquidity incentives, related products, and the foundation, and is expected to end in June 2028. Token issuance affects holders’ relative shares and market supply and demand.
