About xDAI Stake (STAKE)
Xdai chain is a US dollar stable currency blockchain jointly launched by makerdao foundation and POA network. It is also a side chain compatible with Ethereum. It uses the stable currency xdai (converted from the decentralized stable currency Dai on Ethereum in the ratio of 1:1 on the side chain) as the basic token for trading and paying gas fees. It uses the stake token to carry out bookkeeping and governance with the help of the unique proof of interest algorithm posdao. Xdai chain uses a single token for trading and gas payment, which eliminates the need to hold an additional eth payment gas on the Ethereum main network, and enables low-cost and fast payment with stable handling fees. It is very suitable for building application scenarios based on payment and defi. In the future, this side chain mode will be further extended to other stable currencies other than Dai and other main chains other than Ethereum, and stack will still exist as the governance token of these side chains.
