Why Did SMART (SMART) Fall in the Last 24 Hours?

Technical signals were broadly weak, while near-term buying support coexisted with daily-chart weakness. At the report snapshot, buy volume across the top five order-book levels was about 4.17 times sell volume, indicating near-market buy-side dominance. However, the dollar value on both sides was limited, the largest buy order accounted for 78.8% of buy volume, and its position relative to the top five levels was not fully specified; these observations do not establish sustained support or trader intent. A single candle on 2026-10-21 closed up 0.14%, indicating only a local recovery; the volume units and basis were unspecified, so a volume increase cannot be confirmed. RSI and moving averages were neutral on the 15-minute, 1-hour, and 4-hour intervals, with no MACD crossover. ADX was elevated on the 1-hour and 4-hour intervals but does not indicate direction; daily moving averages were bearish, while ADX pointed to limited strength in the downtrend. These technical and liquidity factors provide context but do not independently establish the cause of the decline.

About SMART (SMART)

SMART is the main network coin of the Smart blockchain. The blockchain model is based on the Google Protobuf (protocol buffer) system, which allows for the rapid creation of decentralized networks and tokens and their integration into existing products. The project has a versatile crypto wallet called SMART WALLET that supports the most popular digital currencies including SMART.

Use Cases and Features

SMART is the native coin of Smart Blockchain. The network uses delegated proof of stake (DPoS): accounts can obtain voting rights by freezing SMART and participate in selecting Super Representatives (SRs); the top 27 SRs generate blocks. Once SMART is unfrozen, the corresponding voting rights expire. The network also supports writing and deploying smart contracts with Solidity.

Supply and Issuance Mechanism

The network's economic design includes voting-candidate rewards and block-production rewards for Super Representatives (SRs) in the SMART reward mechanism, calculated in 6-hour rounds. SRs are elected through votes cast by account holders after freezing SMART, and the top 27 participate in block production.
